I rest in the Adonai Yahweh, the covenant Lord whose strength and purpose cannot fail.
I look forward to the spiritual inheritance that awaits me, the fullness of God’s grace given to me because of His Son’s death at Calvary; His resurrection and ascension to the throne of the Father’s right hand.
I suffer in this world, I am not without troubles, pain, sorrow, and tears, but praise be to God, I have been given spiritual sight to look beyond my trials to the Father’s sustaining Presence. Not once has He failed me. He has taught me well. I can live dependent on my Sovereign LORD God, doing His will by the power of His Spirit who lives within me. I entrust my life to Him who judges righteously. He will not abandon me. I cannot be separated from His Presence. This is where true peace is found, a hope that is unfailing and unchanging, love which is accepting and flourishing, trust that will not be broken and abused, security that is forever. I am well armored up for the rest of my journey; I set my face toward my eternal home with God and I completely submit to the Father’s will because His lovingkindness is all I need.
I am in great faith; the Almighty is by my side. I know, even before the battle begins, the outcome is settled. My focus divinely shifts from my circumstances, the fears that tempt me to sin against my God, to the character of God. Through this providential lens, because of the saturation of His Word, the renewal of my mind, everything is changing; my thoughts, words, and behaviors become Spirit-driven, so I am naturally, and with such power, enabled to glorify God in my entire being while also reflecting His radiant light towards others in their time of darkness.
We all suffer. Rejoice in the Lord always, on the mountain top and in the valley, align your heart with His because He has good things in store for those who love Him and put their trust in His Son Jesus Christ.
Praise God, what the devil meant for evil, he, working so diligently to shame me into silence, to dishonor God, has now become the very stage on which divine honor is displayed. By one degree of glory to another, I am progressively changing into the likeness of Christ. Nothing I’ve done but by the grace of God, my old self has died with Christ, and the life I now enjoy is a new life that is the life of Christ Himself. I have been divinely removed from the unregenerate self’s presence and control. I am in union with Christ, delivered from sin and death, given holy purpose to will and to work for God’s good pleasure. Rejoice in the power and presence of God. Rejoice in freedom from the power and penalty of sin.
My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ marched without hesitation or detour to the Cross because He was anchored to the Sovereign. His Father in heaven, whose will, plan, and purpose were to redeem His people through His Son’s one-time perfect sacrifice; Jesus emerged in resurrection honor. All of this settled before the beginning of time, before the foundation of the world; God knew, and God provided our way of escape from the pit of hell and into the glory of heaven, out of darkness and into the light.
I belong to Him, so I too share the same promise. God helps me in suffering; my dignity is preserved, my face is set toward obedience, and through the righteousness of Christ and His shed blood, my days are free to live in Christ and for Christ.
Just as Jesus is risen, I will also rise at God’s appointed time and live forever in the heavenly home that He is preparing for me.
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
