No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Philippians 3:13,14

This blog is not based on fictitious storytelling. There will be errors in my punctuation, in my sentence flow, my structure and it may even be challenging to follow at times. I apologize but the writing flows forth as the Lord wills and I am more than good with this. I am thankful for His time, love, wisdom and His patience with me! I can be a rebellious handful!

Writing is therapy and with pen to paper, I am peaceful and one with God. I heal and grow through the pages of the Holy Bible, prayer, and inspired God-fearing authors and preachers. I share all of this with you as the Holy Spirit leads me to do! What was once childhood journal entries, is now recognized and deeply appreciated as an open door to personal fellowship with Jesus Christ, who is my Lord and Savior!

This blog is not fancy and my intention is not followers nor recognition. My prayer is that all who read are led by the Almighty to come partake. It is His hand at work, not mine. Our Heavenly Prize is a God-given title and I feel quite honored to be its writer. The material in each post contains honest and vulnerable moments with God–my dialogue, revelations, and my interactions–what I do, what I read, what I say, and what I feel which is not always joyful. I am encouraged to tell my story of God’s transforming power in my life. Praise be to God this is an ongoing process! We are not meant to remain as we are! We must always be in a constant state of growth and we can do this by God’s mercy and grace; by His work within us. All that is required is faith! He never gives up on us and He will finish what He set out to do in each one of us!

Our Heavenly Prize is about my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I am not an expert, but I am, gratefully, a child of God who is learning right along with you. It is my prayer that God will bless each person as they read. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. Although, I write about personal experiences, please make no mistake, that what He’s done in my life, He has done in others and He can do in yours. I am not special! We are all made in the image of God!

I take time each day with Jesus. I enjoy and thrive in His constant Presence throughout the day but quiet with Him every morning is a must. He is my life and I pray the Lord gives each one a great desire to seek Him daily.

Lord, through your guidance and power, let us glorify, point, encourage, support, show, represent, and reassure others of the love that you have for humanity. Overwhelm us with your love!

John 3:16, 17

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
